Five Day Golf Tour in Scotland

This itinerary was created for a group of golf enthusiasts from Hong Kong for their first long-awaited visit to the home of golf!

Please note that St Andrews is not included in the itinerary below, however we can arrange golf on the Old Course as an option – typically this is a minimum of 3 nights and includes golf on the iconic Old Course, the Castle Course and on either the New or Jubilee Championship Courses.

Day One

Arrive at Edinburgh Airport and be met by your private chauffeur who will transfer you to your hotel

Check in at the 5 star Balmoral Hotel, Edinburgh

This evening have dinner in one of Edinburgh’s excellent restaurants

Day Two

Breakfast in the Balmoral Hotel

Depart the Balmoral Hotel and be driven to Fife by your private chauffeur

Arrive at Elie Golf Club and tee off

Play 18 holes on this exciting and challenging links course, where the great James Braid cut his golfing teeth

Play at Kingsbarns Golf Links Course

Designed by Kyle Phillips, this top-ranked golf course is  just outside St Andrews and is included in the European Tour’s prestigious Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.

Transfer to 5 star Gleneagles Hotel, Auchterarder

Dinner in the Andrew Fairlie Restaurant, Gleneagles

An exquisite restaurant with two Michelin stars and a world-renowned head chef

Overnight at 5 star Gleneagles Hotel

Day Three

 Breakfast at Gleneagles Hotel

Journey up the east coast of Scotland to Carnoustie Golf Club

Enjoy a round of golf in what Colin Montgomerie described as ‘one of the toughest and best links course that we have in the world’. The British Open was last held here in 2007.

Picnic Lunch provided by Gleneagles Hotel

Dinner at Deseo Mediterranean Restaurant, Gleneagles Hotel

Overnight at Gleneagles Hotel as before

Day Four

Breakfast at Gleneagles Hotel

Play the PGA Centerary Course, Gleneagles

This classic course was created by Jack Nicklaus and is the home of the 2014 Ryder Cup

Lunch in the Dormy (Clubhouse) at Gleneagles

Transfer to the 5 star Turnberry Resort

Overnight at Turnberry Resort Hotel

This world renowned golf resort has been offering 5 star hospitality for over 100 years

Day Five

Breakfast at Turnberry Resort

Play the Ailsa Course at Turnberry

An iconic links course that has hosted the British Open four times over

Lunch in the ‘Tappie Tourie’ Clubhouse Bar at Turnberry

After lunch be transferred down to Edinburgh Airport for your flight home
